Church Picnic/Play Date with Eleanor

Last Sunday, we attended the annual All Saints Parish Picnic at Homewood Park. It was a beautiful day, and they had a great turnout! There was a small moonwalk for the little kids, and it didn't take long for Maggie to discover that she really likes to jump! She had a blast...she even had it all to herself for a long time.

Saying hello to her friend, Eleanor:

Jumping:

Still jumping:

This was in our car on the way home...she had the rosiest cheeks from the constant activity in the hot sun. I was asking her to show me her cheeks...she was very proud to show me!

Yesterday, Eleanor came over for a playdate while her mama worked. They played so well together and stayed outside in the driveway from 9-3! They had a picnic lunch, played in the water and sand, colored with sidewalk chalk, kicked balls, played golf, and ultimately wore me out! We hope Eleanor will come over again soon to entertain Maggie!

Elizabeth-the water table is STILL awesome...it is truly the gift that keeps on giving!
