Roller Skating Awesomeness

The girls and I headed home a few weekends ago to celebrate Anna Claire's upcoming 7th birthday...on roller skates! I can't believe this precious girl, the first baby in our family, is already turning seven...time flies! She is such a sweet spirit-wise beyond her years and such a role model for the girls behind her. We LOVE her so much.

So fired up about the party...she was a roller skating machine...unlike her aunt, who had to start out really slow!



I got on skates to entice Maggie to do it...she would have absolutely nothing to do with skates, but she had a blast walking around the rink, holding hands with Caroline, who also happened to be an expert skater! I had more fun going back to the 80's-seriously, you should give it a try soon...you'll be hooked!

Funny story about me and my sister...at Auburn, we had a bad habit of showing up places dressed like twins. We were especially prone to showing up for KD chapter meetings...in the same car...in the same outfit...completely unplanned! Once, when Courtney was pregnant with Anna Claire, we showed up to cheer a friend on in a race in literally identical outfits...hers the maternity version and me the non-maternity one! HILARIOUS! Well, guess what...we both accidentally wore blue/white pinstriped shirts and jean capris to the skating party...oh, it never gets old!
