Auburn-Florida Game 2011

Last Friday, Robby called me mid-afternoon to tell me that he was able to get three tickets to the Auburn-Florida game...AND that he'd arranged for Mary Allison to have a spend the night party with the grandparents! I was SO excited...FIRST (and probably LAST) Auburn game of the season. We had a great time! When I told Maggie that we were going, she was actually concerned about how sad Mary Allison would be that she didn't get to go-so sweet. Then, the excitement kicked in...unfortunately, however, she was not expecting the LONG car ride OR a full day of tailgating. She was just ready to watch some football...this is how she felt most of the morning...Ed could NOT get a smile out of her!



Neither could Aubie?? This was Maggie's third Auburn game, and we've looked for Aubie at every single game...to no avail...until this particular day-SHE.WAS.HAVING.NONE.OF.IT! I was shocked because she absolutely LOVES Aubie...or the idea of him (apparently)! Oh well-we were excited that he tailgated next to us for a few moments...and Robby got a great picture with him!



Thankfully, she perked up about kickoff, and she ended up having a great time!





It felt so great to be back on the Plains...got to see some great friends, eat some delicious food, spend some one on one time with Maggie, and end the night with a WIN. It could have only been better if Mary Allison could have been there! War Eagle!
